Kunci Jawaban Bahasa Inggris Kelas 8 Halaman 250, Think of The Actions and Feelings of Character

TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Buku pelajaran Bahasa Inggris English for Nusantara | untuk SMP/MTs Kelas VIII oleh Ika Lestari Damayanti dkk. terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan tahun 2022 memuat lima bab.

Di halaman 248, siswa dihadapkan pada Section 6 - Speaking yang berisi materi untuk berlatih berbicara dengan bahasa Inggris di Chapter 5 Embrace Yourself, Unit 1. Be Yourself.

Siswa diminta membuat kelompok dengan siswa lain untuk membaca naskah cerita "Have you heard of makeup?" .

Sebelum membacanya bersama-sama, pada halaman 250, siswa harus melengkapi kolom keterangan ekspresi dan intonasi untuk setiap dialog.

Orang tua/wali/guru dapat menggunakan kunci jawaban untuk membandingkan jawaban siswa setelah siswa mengerjakan semua soal secara mandiri.

b. Think of the actions and feelings of each character while retelling the story. Discuss with your groups how to project the feelings while retelling.

  • Narrator 1 (Student 2): She turned away to do her work, humming a song that was overplayed by the radio. Apparently, not aware of how much her words had hurt me.

  • Narrator 2 (Student 3): Dear girl who I sat next to for one music class. Maybe someday I’ll carefully conceal my dents, my scratches, my lines. 
    Feelings, intonation: .. Reflective, vulnerable — gentle, slow tone
  • Narrator 3 (Student 4): Maybe someday I’ll “prettify” my face. 
    Feelings, intonation: .. Bitter irony, sadness — slight pause before prettify, falling tone
  • Narrator 1 (Student 2): Maybe someday, but for now, I’ll learn how to embrace every imperfection, law, and part of me that needs to be painted away.
    Feelings, intonation: .. Acceptance, self-empowerment — steady, confident rising tone at the end
  • All Narrators (all students): Maybe someday.
