WhatsApp’s new ‘Close Friends’ feature

WhatsApp is now going to introduce a new feature to make its status updates more private and personal. Under this new ‘Close Friends’ feature, users will be able to share status with specific friends by selecting them from their favorite list. This feature is being developed on the lines of Instagram, so that users can get better control of their status.

• Facility to show status to selected friends through Close Friends list.

Currently, the ‘Close Friends’ feature is in the development stage and has not even been given to beta testers yet. According to the information, WhatsApp is working on making it fully operable.
