Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has given a big statement regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address in the Lok Sabha. He said that we have the numerical strength. If we wanted, we could have used marshals to run the House but we believe in democracy. He said these things in a press conference organized at the state BJP office in the capital on Saturday. Earlier in his address, Rijiju gave information about the recently presented Union Budget.
Rijiju said in his address that heated debates are not new in a democracy. There are heated debates in a democracy but stalling the House is a thought-provoking issue. We have numerical strength. We can impose marshals but our endeavor is to solve any problem through talks. When the opposition does not listen to us, it does the same.
Rijiju also said that more than 40 Congress Party MPs reached the chamber of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and talked about this. But the post of PM has dignity. We give first chance. The Lok Sabha Speaker himself suggested that the Prime Minister should first deliver his address in the Rajya Sabha.
Earlier, Rijiju said about the Union Budget that Bihar is a big state of Eastern India. When we go to the North-East, we go through Bihar. The future of Bihar is our future. The future of Eastern India depends on Bihar only. The Union Budget presented this time is based on the foundation of the 2014 budget.
It has been strengthened by making provisions in the name of North-East like many schemes, MSME, rail projects etc. A lot has been found in the budget for Bihar and Eastern India. Schemes and budget announcements were made for employment in rural areas in Bihar. This will give a lot of strength to move forward.
He said that the work of reform has started in the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Reform Express has left. This is not going to stop. Reform Express will continue to run to create a developed India by 2047. High Level Reform Committee has been formed. Its purpose is to remove small problems.
