Bank of Baroda's Recruitment Drive for IT Professionals

Bank of Baroda has initiated a significant recruitment campaign aimed at IT professionals. Candidates interested in these positions can submit their applications until February 19, 2026. Detailed information is available below.

The bank has released a notification for a total of 441 IT professional roles, which include both permanent and contractual positions. The application process is currently open, providing a valuable opportunity for individuals aspiring to build a career in the IT sector within banking.

Out of the 441 positions available, 418 will be filled on a permanent basis, while 23 will be on a contractual basis. This recruitment is focused on enhancing the bank's IT department to improve its digital services. Candidates should apply according to their qualifications and experience, as responsibilities will differ across various roles.

Qualifications Required

Candidates must possess a degree in IT or a related technical field, such as BE, BTech, ME, MTech, or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communications. Relevant work experience is crucial for this recruitment. For junior roles, a minimum of 1 year of experience is required, while senior positions necessitate around 5 years of experience in IT or a similar technical domain.

Age Criteria

The age limit for applicants will be determined as of January 1, 2026. For regular positions, candidates should be between 22 and 32 to 37 years old, depending on the specific role. For contractual roles, the age range is set between 25 and 40 years. Additionally, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation in accordance with government policies.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will occur in multiple phases. Initially, there may be an online examination for regular positions to evaluate candidates' technical skills and qualifications. Some candidates may be shortlisted based on their educational background and experience. Following this, a psychological or mental ability test may be conducted to assess candidates' capacity to manage work-related stress and responsibilities. Those who are shortlisted will be invited for an interview.

The final selection will depend on the interview results and other evaluation methods. A key requirement for this recruitment is that candidates must have a CIBIL score of 680 or above. A lower score could hinder the joining process, so candidates are advised to verify their credit scores prior to applying.
