PM Kisan 22nd Installment Update: This is big news for crores of farmers in the country. After the release of the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) in November 2025, all eyes are now on the 22nd installment. If everything goes smoothly, the government may transfer Rs. 2,000 to farmers' accounts between February and March 2026.

Is your e-KYC complete?

If you want the next installment to be credited to your bank account without any interruption, completing e-KYC is mandatory. You can complete it from the comfort of your home by visiting the PM-Kisan portal and using your Aadhaar number and mobile OTP. Alternatively, you can also update your KYC through face authentication using the PM-KISAN mobile app.

Who might face delays in receiving the installment?

The government has clarified that some individuals may face problems in receiving the next installment. If more than one member of your family (such as both husband and wife) is benefiting from this scheme, or if you have purchased land after February 1, 2019, your payment may be withheld. In such cases, the government will conduct a physical verification before releasing the funds.

What do you need to do to receive the payment?

To ensure you receive your installment, keep these four things in mind:

Complete your e-KYC immediately.

Check if your Aadhaar card is linked to your bank account.
Keep your land records updated on the portal.
Check your status (KYS) on the portal to ensure there are no errors.
