CarryMinati Vs Karan Johar: Famous YouTuber Ajay Nagar by the name of CarryMinati remains in the news every day for some reason or the other. Now, while hearing the petition filed by filmmaker Karan Johar, a Mumbai court has reprimanded CarryMinati. Actually, some time ago, Carrie had made a spoof video of Karan Johar's popular chat show 'Coffee with Karan', which she titled 'Coffee with Jalan'. In that video, CarryMinati was seen making fun of Karan. Karan Johar reached the court regarding the same. Now the court's decision has come on the same.
The case was heard on 10 February. A Mumbai court has clearly refused CarryMinati from making 'defamatory and derogatory' content about Karan Johar. The court has also ordered to remove the video from social media. Wherever there is a video on social media in which Karan has been targeted, it will have to be removed.
Along with CarryMinati, several other parties including his manager Deepak Char, One Hand Clap Media Private Limited, Google and Meta have also been named as defendants in the lawsuit. A temporary restraining order was also requested to stop CarryMinati and his associates from making and uploading such videos. The lawyer appearing for Carry said that the controversial video and other content has already been removed. In such a situation, there is no reason for action now.

After hearing all the parties, Judge PG Bhosale said, “Prima facie it appears that Ajay Nagar and Deepak Char have made defamatory statements and used abusive language against petitioner Karan Johar.” The court issued a temporary restraining order and directed Meta to remove the video. Even though the video has been removed by CarryMinati, the video is still available on many accounts on social media. That video will have to be removed from social media everywhere.
