Lucknow. Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati said that the budget of 2026-27 presented today in the UP Assembly seems more appealing to the people. There seems to be less real upliftment of the people and development of the entire society and all areas in the state. Still, efforts have been made to give announcements and assurances etc. to the public. It must be implemented in a timely manner so that it does not remain only on paper.
Also, it would have been appropriate if the tradition of budget speech had been made really solid and credible by providing accurate data of ground implementation of last year’s budget, whereas the current budget also seems to be more of a newspaper headline grabber, due to which once again people feel that their hopes of ‘Acche Din’ (good days) have been dashed. Anyway, the people of Uttar Pradesh are still waiting for employment system with permanent income, for which seriousness and activeness is necessary.
In this regard, it is important for the government to pay proper attention to SC, ST and OBC reservation. The sooner the backlog of recruitment is completed, the better it will be. However, if the BJP government, like the four BSP governments, tries to fulfill the constitutional responsibility of ‘Sarvajan Hitaya and Sarvajan Sukhaay’ with sincerity and honesty, then it will be appropriate in the interest of the country and the public. The budget should also be in this direction, that is, it would be right if the budget is beneficial for a particular class and region and is not anti-anti-favorites, especially for crores of poor and farmers.
Meeting of three states including Rajasthan state
Along with this, in the process of continuously continuing the activities of the party at the all India level, today in the meeting of senior officials of three states including Rajasthan state, the progress report of the guidelines given in the previous meeting in Delhi for the preparation of the party organization in view of the political situation there in view of the political situation there was reviewed and the people of those states were asked to strengthen the party organization like UP in order to bring their good days. A call was made to inculcate the desire to attain power so that the people of ‘Bahujan Samaj’, after tremendous hard work and struggle by His Holiness Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, can properly benefit from the numerous constitutional rights including reservation to live with self-respect and self-respect, as he had the pleasure of meeting for the first time in all the four BSP governments in UP.
