DSSSB Exam 2026: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released detailed guidelines for the online examinations for various post codes to be held in 2026. The Board has clarified that the reporting time at the examination center will be given on the e-Admit Card, and no candidate will be admitted after the stipulated time. Timing and Admit Card Rules
According to the Board, entry to the examination center will be granted only upon presentation of the e-Admit Card and original photo ID. The e-Admit Card will contain complete details of the exam duration and reporting time. Candidates must sign and thumbprint the photo attendance sheet during the examination and submit it to the invigilator. Failure to do so will be the sole responsibility.

What should not be taken to the exam center?
Security will be strict during the online exam, and candidates will be checked with metal detectors. Mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, calculators, pen drives, watches, wallets, bags, belts, goggles, jewelry, cameras, and any other electronic or metal objects are strictly prohibited. Food and drinks, including water bottles, will also not be permitted inside. There will be no luggage storage facilities at the examination centers.

The Board has also issued a dress code for candidates. Candidates must wear light-colored, half-sleeved clothing without large buttons or badges. Both girls and boys are advised to wear sandals or low-heeled slippers, while shoes will not be permitted.
Special Instructions and Legal Rules
The examination for candidates with disabilities will be conducted as per the Ministry of Education's guidelines. Meanwhile, candidates wearing a "Kada" or "Kirpan" for religious reasons must arrive at the center at least one hour before the reporting time, as per the High Court order, to complete security checks.
Board's Warning
The DSSSB has stated that any prohibited item found with a candidate will be considered unfair means, and action will be taken as per the rules. The Board also reserves the right to cancel a candidate's candidature at any stage.
Candidates are advised to download the e-Admit Card from the official website before the exam, read all instructions carefully, and reach the center well in advance on the exam day to avoid any inconvenience.
