An elderly man who had been spending day and night at the city bus stand for the past ten days was rescued and admitted to a shelter home.

The senior citizen identified himself as Shambu Poojary (65). He reportedly left home following a family dispute.

He was rescued by social worker Vishu Shetty and admitted to “Kanasina Mane” Ashram in Udyavara.

Relatives seeking information about him have been requested to contact the Senior Citizens’ Helpline or the shelter home authorities.
