The Indian Army has released the official notification for Agniveer Recruitment 2026. This is a great opportunity for long-awaited candidates. The application process began on February 13, 2026. This time, the age limit has also been relaxed, allowing more candidates to apply. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. What are the educational qualifications?
Agniveer General Duty (GD): A minimum of 45% marks in 10th grade and 33% in each subject is required. Agniveer Technical: A minimum of 50% marks in 12th grade with Physics, Maths, and English is required. Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper: 60% marks in 12th standard and 50% marks in English and Maths/Accounts required. Agniveer Tradesman: 8th or 10th pass with 33% marks in each subject. Women Military Police (GD): 45% marks in 10th standard are required. Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant: 50% marks in 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Sepoy Pharma: D Pharma (55%) or B Pharma (50%) and registration with the Pharmacy Council. JCO Religious Teacher: A degree or Diploma in the relevant religion and subject is required.

What is the age limit?
The age limit for Agniveer GD, Technical, and Tradesman is 17.5 to 22 years. The maximum age limit for Soldier Technical is 23 years. The age limit for Sepoy Pharma is 19 to 25 years, and for JCO Religious Teacher, the age limit is 25 to 34 years. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2027.

What is the selection process?
The selection process includes an online Common Entrance Exam (CEE), a physical fitness test, a physical measurement test, a medical examination, and a final merit list. The minimum height for general positions is 170 cm, and for clerk positions is 162 cm. A chest measurement of 77 cm and 5 cm expansion is required.
