Valentine Day 2026: This time on the occasion of Valentine's Day, there is a clash at the box office in Bollywood. Shahid Kapoor's film O Romeo has hit the big screens on 13th February. On the same day, Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gaurav's film 'Tu Ya Main' has also been released. O Romeo has taken an opening of Rs 8.5 crore at the ticket window. Whereas Shanaya Kapoor's Tu Ya Main has collected only Rs 55 lakh on the opening day.

Aishwarya Rai and hrithik roshan The film 'Jodha Akbar' was released in the year 2008. It was directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. Made with a budget of Rs 45 crore, the film proved to be a semi-hit by earning Rs 106 crore worldwide. Shahrukh Khan, Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta's film 'Billu' was released on 13 February 2009. Billu, made for Rs 75 crore, earned Rs 63 crore worldwide and turned out to be a super flop.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Imran Khan's film 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu' was released on 10 February 2012. The film, made with a budget of Rs 32 crores, proved to be average in India by earning Rs 40 crores. The 2014 film 'Gunday' starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor was a hit. Made with a budget of Rs 51 crore, the worldwide earning of the film was Rs 130 crore.
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's film 'Gully Boy' was released 7 years ago on 14 February 2019. Its budget was 60 crores and it was a superhit earning 265 crores worldwide. Whereas Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan's film 'Love Aaj Kal 2' was released on 14 February 2020. But, it proved to be a flop. Its earning in India was not even Rs 40 crore and the budget was Rs 50 crore.
Shahid Kapoor had brought a film named 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' on Valentine's Day in the year 2024. This picture proved to be a hit at the box office, earning Rs 130 crore worldwide. Vicky Kaushal's film 'Chhaava' was released on Valentine's Day of 2025. Made with a budget of only Rs 120 crore, Chhaava collected more than Rs 800 crore worldwide and proved to be an all-time blockbuster.
