Doda Police of Jammu and Kashmir has started the search for top Jaish commander Saifullah. Posters of Saifullah and his associates have been put up in different parts of Doda. Doda Police has sought information about the wanted Jaish commander and his associate. Doda Police has put up hoardings showing photographs and details of Pakistani terrorist Saifullah Balochi and has sought help from the common people in finding his whereabouts.
This step is part of security efforts to track and neutralize terrorist elements operating in the area. Police have appealed to citizens to remain alert and share any reliable information with security agencies. Also assured of confidentiality.
According to officials, these posters have sought information about active terrorists. These terrorists also include a Pakistani commander of the banned organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. He has been identified as Saifullah. This step has been taken after the recent encounter and after receiving intelligence information about the presence of terrorists in the area, security has been increased in the high altitude areas of Jammu region.
Officials said the posters were seen at specific checkpoints and public places. These include Nagari, Desa, Ganpat Bridge at Doda entry point and Thathri. Besides, he also said that to reach out to the people as much as possible, more such notices are being put up in other vulnerable areas also.
Meanwhile, security forces busted a terrorist hideout in Chilli forest of Gandoh area of Doda on Saturday morning. His food items and blankets were recovered here. He said that this recovery reveals the recent unrest in the area. This forced the security forces to intensify search operations in the surrounding forests.
Officials said that the posters contain photographs and small information of the suspects. In this, an appeal has been made to the people to share any reliable information with the police. Also, complete confidentiality and security of those giving information has been assured.
