A decades-old murder continues to plague a small Warwickshire village, with police, investigators and amateur detectives unable to identify who brutally killed a cherished farmer decades later.

Now, Rosie, a 28-year-old witch and medium, claims to possess the answers - and her conclusions are disturbing.

Rosie claimed she summoned Charles Walton, 74, the victim of the savage 'Witchcraft killing' murder in 1945. The murder was horrifying.

  • Man spent 93 days at bottom of Atlantic and became '10 years younger'
  • 'I thought I had a cold but then doctors had to amputate both my legs'

Charles' trouncing hook was pushed through his jugular and his body was speared to the ground with his pitchfork.

He also had a large cross carved into his frail chest. The cross mimicked killings involved in witchcraft - so suspicions arose over magic's involvement, reports the Daily Star.

However, Rosie is convinced there was no witchcraft involved in the murder and this was used as an "avoidance tactic."

Instead, she said there was a "male energy out to get" Charles, a Lower Quinton farm labourer who shared a rented cottage opposite the village church with his niece, Edie.

Charles worked on local farms until the day of his murder. He was well-regarded although known to be eccentric.

He would often carry feed and wild birds would flock to his hand, wild dogs would also be calmed just by his voice.

For this reason it was said he was involved with witchcraft or black magic. Tragically, Charles was murdered on Valentine's Day as he was tending hedges on Hillground.

Whilst investigating the case, one of the officers engaged in the inquiry discovered a book he thought might prove significant. The volume, Folklore, Old Customs and Superstitions in Shakespeareland, authored by J.

Harvey Bloom in 1929, featured an unsettling passage detailing the demise of another Charles Walton who perished in 1885 - 60 years prior to this Charles - following a ghostly encounter.

The case garnered such widespread attention that Scotland Yard's Detective Inspector Robert Fabian became involved, yet even he proved unable to crack the crime.

Rosie outlined the factors behind this troubling killing and how she arrived at her conclusions regarding the events.

She explained: "I sat with this last week and allowed everything to come to the surface and let spirit come through because it was very complex. I can understand why this was never directly solved because it was a very complex situation."

Indeed, to this day, the village remains tight-lipped about the killing and locals refuse to discuss it.

Rosie said: "I want to begin by saying witchcraft was used as an avoidance tactic - and the actual murder didn't happen due to any witchcraft involvement, it actually happened closer to home and it happened in reference to money.

"There was a money situation that bought to the surface some toxic energy and I feel the victim was being blackmailed in some way and they got to a point where they couldn't serve that anymore and that's why they were murdered.

"I do believe this is a male that killed him and I do believe it was someone in close proximity that was holding something against Charles.

"There was a lot of secrecy around Charles - he socialised in a way that he didn't give too much away and I feel he had hidden sides to him.

"Even when I was connecting with the perpetrator I felt they were very misunderstood and because they were, their natures were taken advantage of and there were certain things this person did which intimidated other people which is why they held financials over Charles' head.

"I'd be interested to know if there was something to do with land and land discrepancies that had more involvement to family ties. I do believe that there were also family issues that went back that were bought to the surface further down the line."

The landlord of the village pub, the College Arms, Tony Smith, told the BBC he could say nothing. He said: "I can't talk to you about that. After 17 years of running this place, I know there are some things we don't talk about."

The land discrepancies and malignant male energy Rosie speaks of could well be the undercurrent silencing Lower Quinton - but until someone speaks up - we may never know how Rosie's findings square with reality.
