New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main result 2026 session 1 today, February 16. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the JEE Main session 1 result through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The application number, password or date of birth are required to log in and access the JEE Main result scorecard 2026. The scorecard will include the subject-wise percentile, overall percentile, and qualifying status.

JEE Mains 2026-qualified candidates must either appear for the JEE Advanced exam or use their scores to secure admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Instituions (GFTIs).

JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Result: Steps to check online

The JEE Main 2026 session 1 result link is active on the official result website and candidates can follow the below mentioned steps to check and download the scorecard-

  • Step 1: Visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Step 2: On the homepage, click on the JEE Main 2026 session 1 result link.
  • Step 3: Enter JEE Mains 2026 application number and date of birth or password in the login page
  • Step 4: Click on submit.
  • Step 5: Once done, the JEE Main 2026 session 1 scorecard appears on the screen.
  • Step 6: Check the marks and download the scorecard.
  • Step 7: Take the printout of it for record.

The JEE Main session 1 exam was held between January 21 to January 29. NTA published the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 provisional answer key along with the response sheet on February 4. Over 13 lakh candidates were able to raise objections against the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 provisional answer key by February 6.

JEE Main session 2 exam

Candidates who have passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 or are appearing in 2026 can appear for JEE Main Session 2. There is no age limit. Students must have Physics and Mathematics for BE or BTech. Both sessions count as one yearly attempt under NTA rules.
