The press note issued by the CBSE states that every year during the examination period, some anti-social elements attempt to spread misleading and false information, such as question paper leaks, on various social media platforms. The purpose of such rumors is to mislead students and parents and create unnecessary stress. The Board has stated that believing or sharing these unfounded claims can negatively impact students' preparation.

Parents and students are advised to be cautious

The Board has appealed to all stakeholders not to trust any unverified information, screenshots, or viral messages. Only information released on the CBSE's official website (www.cbse.gov.in) and the Board's verified communication channels should be considered authentic. In case of any doubt, students and parents can contact the relevant regional office or CBSE Headquarters, New Delhi.
