ITV viewers issued the same complaint minutes into This Morning after they spotted a glaring error. Hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary returned for Tuesday's episode of the daytime programme but viewers were left unimpressed.

The presenters were joined by Tom Swarbrick and Nicola Thorp to discuss the latest headlines. But a small on-air blunder sparked social media uproar following a grammatical error on screen. It comes after the panel discussed ageing and the first signs that show a person is getting old.

Alison began: "New research has found that if you're putting socks on sitting down you're getting old."

But the text strap that appeared on screen read: "Signs your getting old."

Viewers immediately hit out at the error with many taking to X to share their complaints.

One fumed: "This should be a sackable offence #ThisMorning."

Another remarked: "I'm always getting texts where the person uses 'your' instead of 'you're,' and I just roll my eyes and don't say anything. I don't want to be THAT person." (sic)

A third questioned: "Why has no-one corrected it?"

A fourth argued: "Unbelievable on one of ITV's most popular programmes!"

Others came to their defence, as another penned: "It's not that serious!"
