Hania Aamir has come under criticism on social media for her reported close friendship with Umer Mukhtar, a well-known producer associated with Hum Television Network.

The controversy began earlier this week when a Pakistani model and influencer, Mahnoor Rahim, publicly questioned the actress online, pointing out that she is believed to be one of Mukhtar’s close friends.

The Lahore-based digital creator claimed that the senior producer had once sent her uncomfortable and unexpected direct messages on social media, which she described as inappropriate. Her statements quickly sparked debate across platforms, with many users weighing in on the issue.

In a video message that has since gone viral, Mahnoor alleged that after Mukhtar’s marriage to his wife Dua, he continued to message her late at night in what she described as a flirtatious manner.

She also expressed disappointment with Hania, criticizing her for maintaining friendly relations with someone she accused of inappropriate behavior toward women on social media.

The aspiring influencer further questioned how the actress — known for projects like Meri Zindagi Hai Tu and also serving as a UN National Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan with United Nations, could remain close to someone she labeled as problematic. She argued that, given her public role, Hania should stand for creating safer spaces for young girls rather than associating with individuals accused of misconduct.

So far, neither Hania Aamir nor Umer Mukhtar has issued any public response to Mahnoor Rahim’s allegations, leaving the matter unresolved while the discussion continues online.
