T20 World Cup Super-8: Now the Super-8 round is going to start in the T20 World Cup 2026. Teams from India, South Africa, Zimbabwe, West Indies, England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and New Zealand have qualified for this round. According to ICC rules, for a result in a T20 match, both the teams are required to play at least 5 overs each. There will be no winner of the match, and there will be no impact on the net run rate. In Super-8, each team will get a chance to play 3 matches, in such a situation each match is very important. In Super 8, every match is for two points, so if the match is washed out due to rain, the teams have to lose the chance of victory, which can be a big blow in the race for the semi-finals. Especially for those teams which are ahead or behind in net run rate, this situation can prove to be harmful.
