PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Government of India is one of the biggest schemes providing financial assistance to crores of farmers of the country. Under this scheme, an assistance amount of ₹ 6,000 is sent directly to the bank account of eligible farmers every year. This money is given in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.
PM Kisan Yojana is a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme of the Central Government. In which eligible farmer families owning land get financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 annually. This amount is given to help in farming and household expenses and is directly transferred to the bank account.
Farmers are now waiting for the 22nd installment in 2026. As per the pattern of previous years, this installment may be released in the last week of February or early March 2026. However, the official date has not been announced yet by the government. In previous years also, the installment has been released in the end of February or beginning of March. Therefore, this time also there is a possibility of payment being made at the same time.

According to recent updates, the process of making Farmer ID has been started in some states. However, while giving relief to the farmers, it has been said that until everyone’s ID is not fully implemented. Till then the eligible farmers will continue to get the benefits of the scheme.
