If you are considering studying at a prestigious university after 12th-grade or graduation, this is great news for you. AMU has begun the admission process for various UG and PG programs for the new academic year 2026-27. Students can now apply for their preferred courses. Different admission procedures have been set for different courses.

Which courses are available for admission?

AMU offers opportunities to study in various fields, including Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Agriculture, Theology, and Fine Arts. This time again, the university has invited applications for several undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For students from the science stream, seats are available in various B.Sc. (Hons.) subjects. Several specialized courses are also available for arts and humanities students. The eligibility criteria for each course is different, so please check your eligibility before filling out the form.

Admissions to B.Ed. Integrated Courses will be through NCET

Good news for students aspiring to become teachers. Admissions to four-year integrated courses like BA, B.Ed., and B.Sc., B.Ed. will be through NCET 2026. Only students who have passed the 12th standard and are interested in becoming teachers can apply for these courses. NCET scores will determine merit.

Admissions will also be conducted through AMU's own entrance exam.

For some courses, the university will conduct its own entrance exam. Students interested in pursuing B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry, B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology, and B.Sc. (Hons.) Industrial Chemistry will be required to take the AMU entrance exam. A merit list will be released based on the exam, and seats will be allocated accordingly.

The university has stated that the entrance exam will be held on different dates for different courses. This means that the exam date for the course you have applied for may vary. Therefore, students are advised to regularly check the exam dates for their respective courses on the official website.

Application Fee

Application fees are also determined by course. The fees for different programs range from ₹750 to ₹1,050. When applying, the fee must be paid online. Most importantly, students can apply for multiple courses using a single application form. This means that if a student is interested in different subjects, they will not need to fill out separate forms for each course.
