Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been publicly slammed by some stars over the past year.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was arrested last week on his 66th birthday, has been blasted by various famous faces who have opened up about their encounters with the disgraced royal. The former Duke of York was arrested last Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office after being accused of sharing sensitive information with the late Jeffrey Epstein while he was the UK's trade envoy. Andrew was later released under investigation and has denied any wrongdoing in his links with the convicted sex offender. This week, countries such as New Zealand and Australia have publicly stated they would back Andrew's removal from the line of succession. Meanwhile, various celebrities have hit out at the royal, including Ulrika Jonsson and Piers Morgan. Here, Express.co.uk takes a look at the stars who have blasted Andrew.

Ulrika Jonsson, 58, claimed Andrew looked at her as if she were "cattle" after a brief meeting at Windsor Castle. The mum-of-four also suggested he carried himself with an air of self-importance. Writing in The Sun, she shared: "Prince Andrew is another contender, denying the merest hint of a suggestion that he might have been involved in anything dodgy. Incapable, it seems, of even pretending to have empathy or an ounce of understanding and responsibility." The presenter added: "I met him when I was 20 at Windsor Castle and he looked me up and down as if I was a heifer at a cattle market. Or as if he were God, himself. Deeply uncomfortable."

Journalist Piers Morgan lashed out at both Andrew and Peter Mandelson earlier this month after the former Labour politician was accused of passing market-sensitive government information to Jeffrey Epstein when he was Business Secretary in 2009. On Twitter, Piers ripped into the pair as he shared newspaper front pages which dubbed them the "Princes of Darkness".

Sharing an image of The Sun's front cover on February 4, he tweeted: "Powerful front page... Britain is enduring the greatest Royal and Political scandals of my lifetime - both fuelled by weak, greedy, sleazeballs corrupted by the same paedophile U.S. financier. It's shocking and getting worse by the day."

His comments came after the US Department of Justice released photographs of the former Duke of York on all fours over an unidentified woman in the Epstein files. Meanwhile, a separate image of Mandelson in his underwear was released.

Since Piers' tweet, Andrew and Mandelson were arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, with the royal released under investigation and the Labour peer released on bail.

This Morning star Ashley James broke down in tears while speaking to ITV hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary about Andrew's recent arrest, telling viewers the situation felt deeply personal to her. The former Made in Chelsea star got emotional as she shared: "I felt a huge sense of relief yesterday watching Andrew be arrested." She acknowledged his arrest related to government matters as opposed to sexual abuse allegations made by the late Virginia Giuffre, who died last year.

"As a survivor of sexual assault, you question the system," Ashley added. "You question the system that makes it so difficult for survivors to speak out."

Andrew has denied all claims made against him, including those made by Ms Giuffre. The former Duke of York settled with her out of court in 2022 with no admission of liability.

Former Loose Women star Jane Moore stated earlier this month she feared the "monarchy may never recover" in light of the ongoing Andrew saga. She wrote in The Sun that Andrew's "stubborn silence" will remain an issue for the Royal Family.

She added: "The financial greed of Andrew and his estranged wife, Sarah Ferguson, propelled them to ingratiate themselves with a man prepared to pay off their debts without ever stopping to wonder what the payback might be.

"They are the central protagonists responsible for dragging the monarchy into this mess, but significant others played supporting roles by seemingly turning a blind eye to their shenanigans."

She also said his bodyguards must have known his every move, adding: "So why didn't they express concerns about the company he was keeping?"

A US television star lashed out at Andrew after King Charles removed the remaining of his titles in November 2025, including his Prince title, which he received at birth. Saturday Night Live star Michael Che told viewers: "Prince Andrew has been stripped of his royal title of prince due to his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. And Andrew says he can only become a prince again if he gets a kiss from a young princess."

It came after Buckingham Palace released a statement about Andrew's titles being relinquished. The palace said: "His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.

"Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him. Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."

TalkTV host Kevin O'Sullivan wasn't afraid to tear Andrew apart on his programme last year when he blasted the "disgraced" royal for being "full of his own self-importance" as he led the family into King Konstantine II of Greece's memorial.

Kevin showed footage of Andrew walking at the front of the procession and fumed: "No mate, you are in disgrace, and you will always be in disgrace. He's so full of his own importance and status that he really thinks he can claw his way back. Everyone hates you, Andrew. Forget it."

Loose Women star and former actress Denise Welch has blasted Andrew's friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and opened up about her "run-ins" with the royal.

She said on the ITV chat show: "Anyone who watches this show will know, historically, that I'm no fan of Prince Andrew. He's the one royal I've had a couple of run-ins with. I'm not a fan, I'm just not."

Denise went on to claim she and Andrew had a row at a dinner party she attended with her ex, Tim Healy, over remarks the former duke allegedly made about the late Princess Diana.

Denise alleged: "He started to say things that really, really upset me. Things that were to me very disrespectful with somebody he shouldn't have been sharing this information with."
