Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan praised the work done by the Central Government in the agriculture sector. He said that till date the situation in the agriculture sector has improved. Work is being done to remove the remaining discrepancies. We are ensuring that no negligence is done in this direction.

While talking to journalists on Wednesday, he said that it is the result of the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that today we have reached the top position in the production of rice. There has also been an increase in the quantity of wheat production. The share of food grains has increased by 33 percent and we are confident that we will continue working in this direction in the coming days. We have prepared a complete outline in this regard. We are currently working accordingly.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that we are also worried about India becoming the food basket of the entire world. We are also working on how to produce higher quality fruits and vegetables. We are also working towards simplification of this entire process.

It is the effort of our government that farmers do not have to face any kind of problems. It has always been the endeavor of our government to ensure that the interests of farmers are not harmed in any way. Farmers are the pivot of our country. In such a situation, we cannot accept any kind of compromise with their interests.

Apart from this, he also gave information about Bharat Vistaar Platform. He said that Bharat Vistaar is a platform which is to the facilities provided by the government to the farmers. Now farmers will not have to go anywhere. Every type of solution to the problems of farmers is available on this platform. Through this platform, we are trying to ensure that there is no compromise of any kind with the interests of the farmers.

The Union Minister also said that to use the Bharat Vistaar platform, you do not need to have any kind of IT knowledge. If you ask any type of question to agriculture on this platform, you will get its answer.

He said that in the coming days we will launch the Bharat Vistaar platform in different languages. Through this platform, farmers will get solutions to all their problems in different languages. They will not have to face any kind of problems in this direction.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also gave information about the Agricultural Science Fair. He said that through this fair we are providing various types of information to the farmers. Many people will participate in this fair. In such a situation, this fair becomes very important for us. It is our endeavor that no one faces any kind of problem in organizing this fair.

He said that through this fair we are telling the farmers in detail about the changes taking place in the agriculture sector. We are ensuring that when farmers are given complete information about this, they do not have to face any kind of problems while doing farming tomorrow.
