Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that the Punjab government has released Rs 33.07 crore to provide canal water to 30 villages. The announcement was made while addressing a gathering at Fatehgarh Sahnianwali in Mansa district.

The funds have been allocated for providing canal water infrastructure to these villages. The project aims to supply canal water for irrigation and other purposes to the 30 villages. CM Mann made this announcement during his visit to Fatehgarh Sahnianwali. He was addressing local residents and officials at the gathering.

The Rs 33.07 crore allocation will be utilized for developing the necessary infrastructure to bring canal water to these villages. This includes construction of canals, distribution channels and related facilities. Canal water is important for agricultural activities in Punjab. Access to canal water ensures reliable irrigation for crops and reduces dependence on groundwater.

The 30 villages that will benefit from this project are located in the region. These villages will receive canal water supply once the infrastructure is completed. Mansa district is primarily agricultural. Providing canal water to villages in this region will support farming activities and improve agricultural productivity.

The release of funds indicates that the project is moving forward. With financial allocation in place, work on infrastructure development can proceed. Access to canal water can benefit farmers by providing a reliable source of irrigation. This is particularly important during critical stages of crop growth. The 30 villages represent communities that will gain access to canal water infrastructure. This will change their current water supply situation for agricultural purposes.
