Even though it has been months since its release, Dhurandhar remains the talk of the town. While the makers are currently gearing up for the release of the film’s second part, audiences and critics alike are still dissecting the film and raving about it on social media. However, while there has been a lot of appreciation coming the film’s way, there has also been a lot of chatter about how the film feeds into propaganda interests. Over the past few months, several Bollywood insiders have watched the film and have mostly hyped it. Actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, too, has now joined the list of celebrities who have liked the film. He recently watched the film and posted a review of it on his social media account.

Praising Dhurandhar as one of the most talked-about films at the moment, Sinha described it as a gripping and thoroughly engaging cinematic experience, absolutely dismissing claims of it being a film that feeds into “propaganda” narratives.

The film was thoroughly appreciated for its sincerity, strong entertainment value, and immersive storytelling. There was a special mention directed at the meticulously designed sets that were staged in Bangkok, Thailand, which convincingly recreated Pakistan, as well as its sharp editing and striking cinematography. The entire cast and crew were commended for delivering a technically accomplished and visually compelling film.

Taking to X, Sinha wrote, “Wow! Just happened to see the most talked about film an absolute masterpiece ‘Dhurandhar’. What ‘propaganda’ film??? A film is a film is a film. It’s a great film, gripping interesting & full of entertainment, made with sincerity. The sets too have been created beautifully in Bangkok, Thailand (depicting Pakistan) in a very realistic manner. Technically brilliant, with great editing. The cinematographer deserves applause for his exquisite work. Kudos to the entire supremely talented cast & crew who have made this film a visual delight! Everyone stands out superbly.”

The actor-turned-politician ended his review with the film’s brilliance being attributed to director Aditya Dhar, hailed as a true role model in contemporary cinema. Sinha, in more ways than claimed, the film is an unforgettable cinematic triumph.

The first part of Dhurandhar, which was released at the end of 2025, featured Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. The second part of the film is scheduled to be released in March 2026 and will clash in theatres with Yash’s ‘Toxic.’
