Mumbai Kamakhya Narayan Singh, director of the film ‘The Kerala Story-2 Goes Beyond’ recently expressed his opinion on the ongoing protests. He informed that the cinema hall has resumed the screening of the film. After the Kerala High Court lifted the ban on the film on Friday, he stressed the victory of truth. He said that truth is troubled, but never defeated. The court’s decision has proved this. This story is not just a movie for us, but a deep feeling. It is our responsibility that the people of the country know how our daughters are being implicated in the conspiracy.
Kamakhya Narayan Singh said that it is necessary that everyone knows how our daughters are being made victims through a conspiracy. He told that the film reflects the fight of the girls who have come forward with their stories. He also said that the entire country should know about him. The director also discussed the protests taking place across the country against the film and said that some videos have surfaced from Kerala, where some people are protesting. But he believes that these are some anti-social elements of the society. We have freedom to express our views. Our film is a spiritual sequel, which tells the story not just of Kerala, but of the entire country. It is spreading in every street, every corner and every locality.
Kamakhya Narayan Singh appealed to the audience to watch ‘The Kerala Story-2’ so that awareness can be increased. The Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Friday lifted the stay on the release of the film. A bench of Justices SA Dharmadhikari and PV Balakrishnan had stayed the interim order of single bench Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas, which had stayed the release for 15 days. The film depicts the story of three young girls who are trapped in fraudulent marriages and allegedly face forced religious conversion.
