PM Modi-Benjamin Netanyahu Phone Call: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently held important talks with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan regarding the increasing tension in the Middle East. PM Modi discussed the regional situation in detail over telephone with the Israeli Prime Minister and expressed India’s concerns over recent developments. He made it clear during the talks that the safety of civilians is the top priority and hostilities in the area need to end soon.

PM Modi wrote in the social media platform The talks took place at a time when the Israel-Iran conflict and incidents have destabilized the situation in the Middle East. India has repeatedly stressed the need for regional peace and reduction of tensions.

Condemnation of attack on UAE

Before holding talks with Israel, PM Modi also had a phone discussion with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During this, he strongly condemned the recent attacks on the United Arab Emirates and expressed deep condolences to the victims of these attacks. PM Modi said India stands united with the UAE in these difficult times and appreciates their efforts to take care of the Indian community living there.

India ready to reduce tension in the region

He also made it clear that India is ready to promote regional peace, security and stability and reduce tensions. The main message of both these talks was that India is not only sensitive to regional developments but is also actively trying to establish dialogue with all sides towards ending hostilities and ensuring security.
