Former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher has admitted Chelsea should have been awarded a penalty for an infringement by Arsenal's Declan Rice.
Moments before the Blues equalised at Emirates Stadium, Rice appeared to handle Reece James' corner while also having hold of Jorrel Hato.
Ultimately, the following set-piece ended up in the back of the net but it has started a discussion around holding on corners. Gallagher is the latest to offer his verdict on Rice's accidental handball, via Sky Sports' Ref Watch, with former Premier League forward Jay Bothroyd admitting it should have been a penalty, but for a foul by the Arsenal midfielder.
Gallagher began: "I thought it was a penalty. I think he moves his arm to the ball and his arm shouldn't be up that high.
"I get told it's because he's engaging with an opponent but in my opinion you shouldn't be engaged with an opponent that high up, he shouldn't have his arms around his shoulder."

Bothroyd added: "For me, it's a penalty for a different reason. Why are Declan's arms around him, stopping [Hato] jumping." Replays also showed William Saliba holding Joao Pedro at another corner for the visitors, with David Raya appearing to punch him at a different one.
At the other end, Jurrien Timber grabbed the winner from a corner as he headed home Rice's delivery. Robert Sanchez appealed for a foul but his complaints were dismissed swiftly with Gallagher sharing his opinion.
"I never even considered a foul," he said. "If anything, it is the Chelsea player that pushes into him. I watched this game and I really feel for the referees now because in this situation, every corner there was so much going on.
"I don't know what the referee is supposed to do. You could pick three, four or five incidents out at every single corner."
While all three goals came from set-pieces, talking points in other areas of the pitch did also emerge. A red card for Pedro Neto after two yellow cards in a few minutes was one of those with Gallagher and Bothroyd making their feelings clear on that incident.
The former said: "He's only got a yellow three minutes earlier. It's such a rash challenge."
Bothroyd later admitted: "It's a challenge that isn't needed at all. Neto is fast, he can run with him with pace. There's no need to make a tackle at all. He's cost his team. Lazy defending."
While many were of the belief a penalty should have been given against Rice, only Gyokeres thought that for himself following what he believed to be a foul by Trevoh Chalobah.
However, replays showed minimal, if any, contact was made with Sky Sports co-commentator Gary Neville issuing a blunt verdict. He said: "I don't think there's anything in it, it's a good challenge initially from Chalobah. Yeah, he dives."
