The festival of Holi is famous for colours, happiness and delicious dishes. This festival is approaching, and people have been looking forward to it for a long time. Everyone likes to play Holi, but often faces difficulty in removing the colors. During this time our skin and hair suffer the most damage. Sometimes the skin becomes red and there is a burning sensation while trying to remove the color. Let us know what should be applied on the face before playing Holi so that your skin remains safe.
Before playing Holi, it is beneficial to apply a mixture of aloe vera gel and almond oil. This combination protects your skin. Aloe vera soothes the skin, while almond oil acts as a protective shield, preventing the color from absorbing into your skin.
– Take one spoon aloe vera gel in a bowl.
– Add a few drops of almond oil to it.
– After mixing well, apply it gently on the face and neck.
– Make sure to apply it about 15 minutes before playing Holi so that it sets well on the skin.
– Don’t forget to apply it not only on the cheeks, but also behind the ears, neck and near the hairline.
If your skin is already oily, you can use water-resistant sunscreen or petroleum jelly. This will prevent the color from going deep into your skin.
– Do not rub the face with soap immediately after playing Holi.
– First wash your face with plain water.
Then use a mild cleanser or mild face wash.
– If the color becomes dark, apply raw milk or aloe vera gel and massage with light hands.
– Colors get stuck in the nails during Holi. Therefore, before Holi, apply dark nail polish and light vaseline on the edges of the nails.
– Lips become dry due to coloring, so do not forget to apply lip balm or a little ghee before playing Holi.
– There is no shortage of water in the body, so drink plenty of water, so that your skin remains hydrated.
