Motorola has today introduced two latest smartphones at MWC 2026, which include the Motorola Razr Fold and the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. Razr Fold is the company’s first book-style foldable smartphone, which has a 6,000mAh battery with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Whereas, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and 5,200mAh battery has been used in Edge 70 Fusion. Let us discuss the features of both devices in detail.
Motorola Razr Fold is a dual SIM (physical SIM + eSIM) smartphone that works on Android 16 based My UX. On its exterior, there is a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover display, which supports 165Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness goes up to 6,000 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 has been used to protect the screen.
Opening the phone reveals a large 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED inner display, which comes with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Its maximum brightness is up to 6,200 nits and includes Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) protection for safety.
In terms of performance, the Razr Fold has the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It has 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of fast UFS 4.1 storage. You can also add up to 16GB of virtual memory through the RAM Boost feature. The company claims that this phone will also get seven Android updates and security updates for seven years.
It has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera on the cover screen and a 20MP front camera on the inside screen. It has a 6,000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that supports 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 5200 nits peak brightness. Gorilla Glass 7i has been used to protect the screen.
For performance, this device is based on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. For photography, its rear has a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor (with OIS), a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a macro lens with a 122-degree field of view. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP camera on the front.
To enhance the audio experience, this phone includes dual stereo speakers that support Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos. For power needs, it has a 5,200mAh battery, which supports 68W fast charging.
Motorola has confirmed that the Motorola Razr Fold will be available in select markets in Latin America, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific in the coming months. It will be launched in Europe for EUR 1,999 (approximately ₹2,14,200), and will also be bundled with the Moto Pen Ultra.
However, the pricing information of Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has not been released yet. But the company has made it clear that this smartphone will be made available in selected countries of Latin America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
