Ali Larijani, the powerful head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has said his country has no interest in talking to the United States after a wave of strikes against his country.

“We will not negotiate with the United States,” he said in a post on the platform X.

Earlier, Larijani had warned that Iran would take retribution for the killing of the Islamic Republic’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei "with a force that they have never experienced before."

US President Donald Trump on Sunday signaled that he was open to dialogue with Iran’s new leadership.
