Holi 2026: Holi is a festival of colors and dishes. On this day, after eating too much Gujiya and salty food, one often feels like getting something which helps in digestion and refreshes one. If you want to try something different in your party this Holi, then nothing can be better than ‘Paan Shots’. This is a drink that serves as both a dessert and a mouth-freshener. This combination of betel leaves, cold ice cream and aromatic Gulkand will remove all the tiredness of your guests. Let us know the very easy method of making it.
Material
Betel leaves (stem removed) – 6–8 fresh
Vanilla ice cream-2 cups
Gulkand-2–3 tbsp
Fennel- 1 tablespoon
Cardamom powder-1 tsp
Condensed milk-1–2 tbsp
Cold milk-½ cup
ice cubes
Method
- First of all, wash the betel leaves thoroughly, remove the stems and cut them into small pieces.
- Add betel leaves, vanilla ice cream, gulkand, fennel, cardamom powder and milk in the mixer jar. If you want more sweetness, you can also add condensed milk.
- Blend everything well until the mixture becomes very smooth and creamy.
- Pour the prepared mixture into small shot glasses. Garnish by adding some gulkand or fennel on top. If desired, cool it in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before serving.
- Garnish by applying some gulkand on the rim of the shot glass and dipping it in fennel seeds – the presentation will look spectacular. Give a festive touch by applying silver work on top. If you want, you can also add a little mint, this will make the taste even fresher.
