India has confirmed its place in the final of the T-20 World Cup by defeating England by 7 runs in a thrilling semi-final match. After this high-scoring match, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav described an incredible feeling, but also revealed how stressed he was during the match.

Suryakumar expressed his heartfelt feelings in the press conference after the match. He said that during the match he was very nervous and his heartbeat had increased a lot. This victory is very special for India because now the team will play the final match in Ahmedabad.

Credit for victory given to bowlers and fielding

Captain Suryakumar gave full credit for this spectacular victory to the team’s bowlers and fielders. Chasing the huge target of 253 runs given by India, England were moving towards victory at one time, but the Indian bowlers made a comeback. Suryakumar said, “I told Harry (Brooke) how many more runs we need to score against you. He was always in the fight.”

He further added, “But the way Bumrah, Arshdeep and the rest of the bowlers turned the match back towards us was unbelievable. It was a brilliant bowling performance.” Apart from this, he also praised the team’s fielding coach T. Dilip. Axar Patel took two excellent catches in the match, while Hardik Pandya ran out centurion Jacob Bethlad at a crucial juncture.

Sanju Samson’s innings is highly praised

Suryakumar Yadav also praised Sanju Samson (89 runs) who played an important role in the team’s big score. He said, “When Samson had to come out to bat, he completely knew what he had to do. The team needed the same performance from him and he did the same.” Thanks to Samson’s innings, India had scored a huge score of 253 runs for 7 wickets, in response to which the England team could only score 246 runs for 7 wickets.
