Captain Suryakumar gave full credit for this spectacular victory to the team’s bowlers and fielders. Chasing the huge target of 253 runs given by India, England were moving towards victory at one time, but the Indian bowlers made a comeback. Suryakumar said, “I told Harry (Brooke) how many more runs we need to score against you. He was always in the fight.”
He further added, “But the way Bumrah, Arshdeep and the rest of the bowlers turned the match back towards us was unbelievable.
