NEET UG 2026: Timeline and Application Process
The online registration process for NEET UG 2026 began on February 8th. It will end on March 8th, 2026, at 11:50 PM. The NEET UG exam will be held on May 3rd, 2026, between 2:00 PM and 5:20 PM. To apply, candidates must register by visiting the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. This process involves filling in personal details, uploading required documents, and paying the examination fee.

One Candidate, One Form: If a candidate submits more than one application form, all their forms will be cancelled, and they may be blacklisted.

Live Photograph Mandatory: This time, candidates will be required to submit a live photo via webcam while filling out the form. This photo must match the photo on their Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar e-KYC: Aadhaar-based OTP verification is required for identity verification. Your name and date of birth must match your Aadhaar.

Exam City Selection: Candidates can no longer choose any city. Exam centers will be allocated based only on their current or permanent address.

Correct Contact Details: Provide only your or your parent's mobile number and email ID. All future communications (such as admit cards, OTPs) will be sent to these addresses.

Category Certificate: OBC-NCL candidates must ensure that their caste is included in the central list; they will not be eligible for reservation benefits.

APAAR ID: An APAAR ID is not mandatory, but if a candidate has one, they can fill it in the form.

Language Medium: The NEET UG exam will be conducted in 13 languages. Please note that if you choose Hindi or a regional language, you will receive a bilingual paper, but if you choose English, you will receive an English-only paper.

Payment Security: Do not refresh the page while paying the fee. After the transaction is successful, take a printout of the confirmation page.

NEET UG Correction Window: The correction window will be available between March 10 and 12, 2026, but basic information such as mobile number, email address, and Aadhaar details cannot be changed.
