In a bid to promote transparency and eliminate cheating in examinations, the Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, has mandated the use of the Exam Mitra App across all examination centers. He clarified that this directive is not optional for superintendents and deputy superintendents; it is a requirement.

Dr. Sharma highlighted the importance of real-time data in preserving the integrity of the examination process. He stated that all critical updates from exam centers must be uploaded to the app immediately, allowing the board's headquarters to monitor conditions live and swiftly identify any irregularities.

He cautioned that even minor reporting oversights will be flagged directly. To enhance oversight, center coordinators have been granted special powers to ensure that updates are uploaded accurately and punctually. This three-tier monitoring system is designed to bolster the credibility of the examination process.

Emphasizing the significance of technology, Dr. Sharma mentioned that the board is enhancing digital tools to reduce delays and errors linked to manual reporting. He noted that the Exam Mitra App represents a significant step towards modernizing exam management and ensuring fairness. He urged all officials to embrace this technological advancement, as it plays a crucial role in improving educational quality and standardizing examinations.
