Do not do photography in UAE… Why did advisory have to be issued for Indians amid the attacks?

An advisory has been issued by the Government of India for millions of people living in Dubai or Abu Dhabi amid the ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran. According to the advisory, do not take or publish photographs of the incident site through digital or social media platforms. It has been told in the advisory that UAE authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against any person making videos without permission at the scene of the incident or inside the prohibited areas or the airport.

Additionally, to ensure your safety and avoid legal consequences, all Indian citizens are advised to strictly follow the points given below. The advisory said that when you hear any kind of warning alert, immediately move to a safe place and stay there until the warning alert is removed for your area. In such a situation, do not try to go out to take photos/record videos in any way.

Follow the guidelines of UAE authorities

The advisory issued on March 8 states that photographs of damage caused by projectiles or shrapnel should not be shared. Apart from this, if pellets fall around you or any suspicious thing is found, then immediately inform the concerned authorities about it. So that they can handle the situation safely and quickly. Stay away from that area and do not go near or touch any part. Do not take photos or record videos while traveling inside the airport.

In view of the current situation in the area, the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has urged all Indian citizens living in or visiting the UAE to strictly follow the local laws and safety guidelines issued by the UAE authorities.
