
Six important decisions have been taken in the Union Cabinet meeting. The Cabinet has approved Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that Jal Jeevan Mission will be extended till 2028. Rs 8 lakh 70 thousand crores have been sanctioned for this mission. Apart from this, the cabinet approved the proposal to declare Madurai Airport as an international airport.
Apart from this, a decision has been taken on the connectivity of Jewar Airport. Vaishnav said that along with revising the cost of Jewar Airport, the Cabinet also approved the elevated road connecting Jewar Airport to Faridabad. The fourth rail line between Sainthia Pakur and the fourth rail line between Santragachi to Kharagpur has been approved. Apart from this, the highway project of Madhya Pradesh has been approved.
