Sound of reshuffle or new flight of reforms… 'Report card' of reforms ready, ministers submitted the list

The Central Government has taken a big step to implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision 'Reform, Perform and Transform'. All the Union Ministers have submitted complete details of the reforms of their respective ministries. A list of all those reforms which help in ease of doing business and ease of living has been submitted. Yesterday was the last date for sending this report.

In fact, in the first cabinet meeting on March 24 in the new PMO 'Seva Tirtha', PM Modi had asked all the ministers to give details of major reforms done in their respective ministries from 2024 onwards in a fixed format.

Reform performance will become the 'criteria' for cabinet reshuffle!

This is being considered a big step to speed up the Reform Express. It is believed that this will help in taking major decisions regarding reforms. Besides, it is also being linked to a possible reshuffle in the cabinet. It is believed that this reform performance of the ministers will also be a criterion in the future cabinet reshuffle.

What is 'Reform Express'?

After the beginning of the third term of the Modi government in 2024, Prime Minister Modi has directed all the ministers to prepare a detailed report of the revolutionary reforms done in their respective ministries. This initiative is being called 'Reform Express'. Its objective is to simplify government processes and accurately assess their impact. Keeping this in view, every minister has presented his report.

The Prime Minister has fixed a special format for sending reports on Reform Express. According to this, every minister has to choose the three biggest reforms of his ministry. It is essential to explain the exact impact of these reforms. Meaning, how many people or businesses benefited from this? Its objective is to ensure that the reforms do not remain only on paper, but their impact is visible on the ground.

Experts believe that 'Reform Express' will not only help in taking big decisions in future, but will also make it clear which ministry is moving towards the goal of developed India and how fast.
