Indian cricket team’s star spinner Kuldeep Yadav is going to get married soon. The wedding date has now been revealed. Kuldeep, popularly known as Chinaman, will marry his childhood friend Vanshika on March 14. The wedding will take place at a resort in Mussoorie, followed by a grand reception in Lucknow on March 17.
According to media reports, Kuldeep Yadav’s marriage was earlier to take place in November 2025 but it was postponed due to his cricket schedule and national team commitments. At that time, Kuldeep’s focus was on Team India’s performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Kuldeep Yadav’s coach Kapil Pandey, who has been training since 2003, confirmed the wedding date. According to a report in Hindustan Times, he said that family and close friends will reach Mussoorie on March 12. The Haldi ceremony and other pre-wedding rituals will take place on March 13, while the wedding will end on March 14. After this, there will be a grand reception on March 17 at The Centrum, Lucknow.
The coach said in his statement that many well-known people from the cricket world are expected to attend the wedding and reception. It is being said that Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials, many athletes, politicians and Bollywood celebrities are also expected to attend. Bhagwati Pant, General Manager of The Centrum in Lucknow, said that so far 35 rooms have been booked for the reception and this number may increase. The main ballroom of the hotel has been reserved for the reception.
Kuldeep Yadav and Vanshika both are from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Interestingly, their childhood was spent within three kilometers of each other’s homes. The couple, who knew each other for a long time, got engaged last year in a hotel in Lucknow. Vanshika’s father Yogendra Singh currently works in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). In 2017, Vanshika completed her 12th class from St. Mary’s School, Kanpur. After that she went to Australia for further studies, where she also worked.
