How did this idea come about?

According to media reports, this change was not a government order, but started with the wisdom of a woman from the village. There will be a fine, but there is a condition!

The rule was made, but to ensure that no one takes advantage of it, the Panchayat put a smart condition that the fine will be collected only when the complainant presents evidence of the same. That means if he has audio or video recording of the person, then immediate action is certain.

Kolgaon at a glance

This is a village with a population of about 9,000 people, where people of different castes and religions live together. The economy here is mainly based on agriculture.
