The UP Board has implemented specific limits on the number of copies each teacher can evaluate. For instance, a teacher assigned to 12th-grade Science will be limited to checking 600 copies, while those evaluating 10th-grade Science will handle a maximum of 700 copies. Arts teachers will be allowed to check up to 800 copies.
According to the regulations set by the UP Board, teachers receive payment for each exam paper they evaluate. Specifically, teachers grading 10th-grade papers earn 14 rupees per copy, while those evaluating 12th-grade papers receive 15 rupees per copy. On average, a teacher can evaluate between 45 to 50 copies daily, with a cap of 800 copies. This means a teacher could potentially earn up to 12,000 rupees from the evaluation process.
