Rules of Navratri Puja: The holy festival of Chaitra Navratri is the time of worship of spiritual energy and power. According to the Panchang, this year Chaitra Navratri is starting from 19 March 2026. During these days, nine different forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. It is believed that during Navratri, Goddess Durga resides in every house. In such a situation, it is very important to maintain the purity of the house. Bringing or touching alcohol, cigarettes or any kind of intoxicant into the house during Navratri is considered inauspicious. This is considered an insult to Goddess Durga and can increase negative energy in the house.
