AI Job Impact: Every day, news of people losing their jobs due to AI comes in. Meanwhile, a report has emerged outlining which jobs will be least impacted by AI.
Which jobs are least threatened by AI?
AI Job Impact: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is everywhere these days. In recent years, millions of people have lost their jobs due to AI, and warnings are emerging daily that this new technology will take away millions more jobs . Meanwhile, a report has emerged that highlights the types of jobs that will remain unaffected by AI. These jobs will remain completely safe even as AI advances.
AI will not affect these tasks.
AI company Anthropic recently conducted a study to determine which jobs will be least impacted by AI in the future. It found that jobs that require physical effort, on-the-spot work, and direct interaction with people will be the least impacted by this technology. The research suggests that AI can perform all tasks that can be performed on digital platforms, but tasks like repairing machines and providing services through conversations with people are currently unattainable.
These jobs are safe from AI.
In its report, Anthropic identified six professions currently least vulnerable to AI. These include cooks, motorcycle mechanics, bartenders, lifeguards, dishwashers, and dressing room attendants. All of these professions require physical labor and require workers to be present on the spot. These tasks cannot be performed by machines or digital platforms.
These things came to light in the report.
Anthropic's report states that the impact of AI on any job depends on how many tasks can be performed by AI. If the majority of the tasks are computer-based or digital, AI can easily handle these tasks. However, if the tasks are physically present and performed in person, AI is less likely to pose a threat. Approximately 30 percent of jobs are currently unreplaceable by AI.
