After her victory in Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana Makbul has gained significant popularity and is now actively involved in web series. Her latest project, Begum Of Crime, is currently available for streaming on Hungama OTT. In a recent exclusive interview with a media outlet, Sana expressed her thoughts on the ongoing discussions on social media about influencers affecting the entertainment market. She defended content creators, emphasizing their dedication and hard work in producing engaging vlogs. Sana candidly admitted that she struggles to create content like her influencer peers.
During her conversation, Sana stated that influencers are not harming the entertainment industry. When asked about the controversy, she remarked, “It’s not accurate to say that. They are creators who put in a lot of effort to produce content. I find it challenging to create content myself. Many have suggested I start vlogging and become an influencer, but it’s just not for me.” She highlighted the relentless work of her influencer friends, noting, “I’ve seen them recording constantly. It’s a demanding job, and I truly admire their efforts. I struggle even with video editing.”
When questioned about influencers challenging TV actors regarding their recognition, Sana shared that she doesn’t take offense, understanding that some may not be familiar with her work. She explained, “It’s fine if someone doesn’t know about TV actors. They might belong to a younger generation and simply haven’t seen our shows. I’ve encountered similar situations where people tell me they haven’t watched my work, and that’s perfectly okay. I don’t take it personally.”
Sana Makbul has an extensive background in both films and television.
