Znewsciting St Headlinereported on Tuesday that Wong drew attention after appearing at a recent event, where he shared details about his current life.

Saying that livestream selling is far less glamorous than it appears, he noted that the market is highly competitive, leading to frequent difficulties and setbacks.

Wong said he once hosted a livestream session that lasted six hours, though such extended broadcasts typically occur only when sales are strong. If performance is weak, sessions may be cut within the first hour.

In recent years, aside from livestreaming, Wong has also ventured into the food business, operating a French restaurant in Hong Kong. He has additionally formed a dance group with friends, whose members are mostly over the age of 40. The group regularly posts dance videos on Douyin despite drawing criticism from some online users, in hopes of expanding their reach in the market.

Wong, 48, was born in Hong Kong and moved to France with his family at the age of four, he said in an interview with the South China Morning Post. He later competed in the Mr. Hong Kong 2005 pageant after being encouraged by colleagues.
