According to a report by *The Washington Post*, US Senator Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth were present at that very base at the time. Specifically, both Senator Rubio and Secretary Hegseth were on the premises when a drone was observed hovering over the military installation.

According to *The Washington Post* report, US officials held consultations following the sighting of the suspicious drone. Consideration was given to relocating Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth to a different location. However, no information has surfaced confirming whether or not they were actually relocated.

Meanwhile, Pentagon Chief Spokesperson Sean Parnell declined to provide any details regarding the movements or activities of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. He cited security concerns as the reason for this refusal. “For security reasons, I cannot comment on Pete Hegseth’s movements,” stated Pentagon Chief Spokesperson Sean Parnell.

He also characterized the reporting of such activities as irresponsible. According to the report, a high-level meeting was convened at the White House following the sighting of the drone at the army base.
