Chuck Norris was rushed to hospital after suffering a medical emergency. The legendary actor and martial artist was hospitalised just days after celebrating his 86th birthday. The reason for Chuck's hospital dash remains unknown, but it happened on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Despite seeking medical attention, Chuck was back training and "in good spirits" during a phone call with a friend, according to TMZ.
Celebrating his 86th birthday on March 10, Chuck posted a video of him sparring with a trainer on Instagram. "I don't age. I level up," he wrote in the caption. "I'm 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young.
"I'm grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world."
The star, best known for his role as Cordell Walker on the long-running television series Walker, Texas Ranger, added: "Your support through the years has meant more to me than you'll ever know."
It comes after Chuck announced the death of his first wife, Dianne Holecheck, who passed away aged 84 in December 2025 following a battle with dementia.
Sharing a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, Chuck penned: "I am deeply saddened to share that my ex wife, Dianne, has passed away. After being married for 30 years, we were able to find a way to remain close friends, and those years of friendship meant the world to me.
"Dianne was an incredible person. She was kind, intelligent, and lived life to the fullest. Her presence in my life will never be forgotten. She was also a loving and devoted mother to our sons, Mike and Eric, who were always her greatest pride."
Chuck, who has been married to Gena O'Kelley since 1998, added: "Even as our lives took different directions, we continued to care deeply for one another, and I will forever cherish the memories we built together."
The six-time martial arts champion and his ex-wife first met when they attended high school in California. They tied the knot in 1958, when Chuck was 18 and Dianne was 17.
The couple welcomed two sons, Mike and Eric, during their marriage, which ended in divorce in 1989.
