Actor Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has shattered all box-office records and has minted over Rs 100 crore in just a day, despite the film not releasing in Gulf countries. Aditya Dhar’s directorial debut released in theatres on Thursday, March 19. On its release day, a special screening was held in Mumbai for the cast and crew, which was attended by director Aditya Dhar, his wife and actress Yami Gautam, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Saumya Tandon, Ayesha Khan, Krystle D’Souza and Ranveer.

Several inside photos and videos from the event have gone viral on social media. Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar posed with Sara Arjun, Saumya Tandon, among others.

Amid many clips that are all over social media, it’s Ranveer Singh dancing to the hit track FA9LA, which featured Akshaye Khanna’s character Rehman Dakait in the first part, that has grabbed eyeballs. In the video, Ranveer is seen recreating Akshaye’s steps, dancing and enjoying his time at the after-party along with several others. He was dressed in his Dhurandhar-customised T-shirt, paired with a maroon jacket.

Another clip shows Sanjay Dutt chatting with guests, dressed in a maroon kurta and sunglasses, carrying his usual effortless charm.

Yami Gautam, dressed in a simple yet elegant white dress, is seen smiling and engaging in conversations, adding to the warm, easy-going feel of the night.

Another video shows Ranveer Singh sharing a quiet moment with director Aditya Dhar after the screening, the two appearing deep in conversation.

The evening also turned into a reunion as Ranveer Singh, Aditya Dhar, Yami Gautam, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Saumya Tandon, Krystle D’Souza and Ayesha Khan were spotted, making it a night filled with laughter, hugs and countless candid pictures.

Akshaye Khanna skipped the party and screening.

Saumya Tandon shared Instagram carousel photos from the party. She wrote, “The madness in the party post the film screening with Dhurandhars. Congratulations to you all for making history. Karan Johar hugs Yami Gautam at Prime Video’s event but wasn’t present at the celeb’s screening of Dhurandhar

Yami Gautam, at the Amazon Prime Video slate 2026 event, met Karan Johar. She also hugged him, and the duo chatted on stage before they unveiled the poster of a horror-comedy titled Nayyi Navelli. The film will drop on Prime Video after its theatrical run.

During the launch, when Karan and Yami hugged each other, netizens had mixed reactions to Karan’s gesture, as it was initially reported that Karan had snubbed Yami.
