Premanand ji maharaj inspiration leader of youth
Pujya Shri Hit Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj (popularly known as Premanand Maharaj or Premanand Ji Maharaj) was born on 30 March 1969 in an ordinary Brahmin family in Akhari village of Sarsaul block in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. His childhood name was Anirudh Kumar Pandey. They celebrate their birth anniversary around Pratipada/Panchami of Chaitra Navratri as per Hindu calendar (Vikram Samvat) instead of English date, hence the festival is celebrated in mid-March (13-19 March). The flame of devotion was burning in his mind since childhood. At the age of just 13, he left home and came to Vrindavan Dham and surrendered himself to the Radha Vallabh sect. By the grace of Guru, he became Premanand Govind Sharan and today is famous all over the country and the world as the main Rasik saint of Radha Kelly Kunj.
2026 birth anniversary: grand event and excitement
This year the birth anniversary was celebrated with great pomp from 13 March to 19 March 2026. Radha Keli Kunj was decorated with flowers, rangoli and divine decorations. There was a daily program of special darshan, Radha-naam sankirtan, bhajan-kirtan, satsang and distribution of prasad. On March 19, the day of the main festival, devotees offered flower garlands to Maharaj Ji, performed aarti and chanted Radhe-Radhe.
