Students who appeared for the CTET February session examination are eagerly awaiting its results. A major update regarding this has now emerged. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)—the body responsible for conducting the CTET examination—will soon declare the results for CTET February 2026, which can be checked on the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for February 2026 was conducted on February 7 and 8, while the examination was re-conducted at two centers in Bihar on March 1.
On March 12, the CBSE released the provisional answer keys for CTET 2026, along with scanned copies of the candidates' OMR answer sheets. Furthermore, candidates were given until March 15 to register objections against the CTET 2026 answer keys. The CTET 2026 examination was conducted for two papers: Paper 1 for classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. Now, with the results next on the agenda, it is being reported that the announcement is likely to be made next week.
Where Can CTET Scores Be Utilized?
Candidates who pass the CTET are eligible to apply for teaching positions in Central Government schools. These include Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Central Tibetan Schools, and schools under the administrative control of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and Delhi-NCR. Additionally, CTET scores can also be utilized when applying to non-governmental—that is, private—schools.
Results Also Accessible via DigiLocker
The CBSE will make the CTET mark sheets available to all candidates and the eligibility certificates available to successful candidates in a digital format via DigiLocker. These documents will be digitally signed, rendering them legally valid. According to the CBSE, both the marksheet and the eligibility certificate will feature an encrypted QR code, which can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app. DigiLocker accounts will be created for all candidates, and the login credentials will be shared via the mobile numbers registered with the CBSE. Using these credentials, candidates will be able to download their digital marksheets and eligibility certificates.
CTET Certificate Remains Valid for a Lifetime
The validity of the CTET eligibility certificate will be lifelong for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate may make to obtain a CTET certificate; furthermore, candidates who have previously passed the CTET may retake the examination to improve their scores.
