5. Have you ever read a story about a princess?

Jawaban:

Yes I have

6. Are you familiar with a story titled ‘The Goose Girl’?

Jawaban:

No I am not

7. What do you think this story is going to be about? Mention some words you expect to find in it.

Jawaban:

I think the story will be about a girl that takes care of a few geese in a magical world.

Activity 1

In order to help you understand the tale better, let’s learn the vocabulary you will find in it. Study the bold typed words and their meanings.

Vocabulary Items of The Goose Girl

Word:

Gift = a natural ability or talent

Example:

As Ani grew up, she learned of three important gifts: people-speaking, animal-speaking, and nature-speaking.

Word:

Alienate = to be withdrawn or detached from one’s society
